As I was still unsure about the title of our film; I decided to do a questionnaire and give it to ask some students in my school and this is our results:

From the results I found that 'Essence' was the most popular title so this is the one I have chosen.

Title Questionnaire

For our media as coursework, I have been set a task to plan and create a short film. I have chosen to focus on the mystery genre and the age rating is 15. I have everything sorted except one thing, the title. To help me out I would like you to read the synopsis and circle a title that you think matches our film. Synopsis: tells the story of Jasmin, a normal 19 year old; haunted by a dark secret that changed her life forever. The film shows her slowly destructing from the inside out and how hard it is to battle with your demons...

The film is shot over 1 day of Jasmin's life as we understand what happened to her in her past and how her life has changed as a result. She sees Ava in her everyday life, just standing there, emotionless and neutral but still in the same clothes she died in.
