Coursework Options

For my A2 coursework I have chosen to either do a short film or a documenty. In the documenrty I would explore the world of drama and acting where I would take a camera into my drama classes (outside of school) and show people what its like. I finally decided that a short film would be more interesting as its something that brings out my creative side. The genres I am thinking of doing are either horror, thriller or mystery.

As I want to go into the acting industy; I feel like doing a short film will put me into my comfort zone and give me the opportuinity to be behind the camera this time. I have a good knowledge of films and how they are shot as I watch many and have also researched and analyised some when undergoing my Foundation Porforlio.

In order to create a accuate and convining short film I need to develop my camera and editing skills which I am 60% confident with. To do this I will create a Preliminary video which will give me more expierience with camera and editing.
